Atithi

अ ति थी

Invited to a relative or friend's engagement party? Feel lucky! All the arrangements, decorations and most importantly the lavish spread is for you to enjoy. Atithi or Mehmaan, as we call the guests here, make or break a celebration. However, with great power comes great responsibility. Apart from acknowledging the effort put in by the families in treating you well and choosing the right gift for the couple there is something else that you need to take special care of. Dress up! Yes, it is the most exciting part but make sure you do not overdo it.
Classy Desi is the mantra. The Indian suit is a win-win option for you. Very desi & Very elegant. Needless to say, Sarees make one look effortlessly beautiful. Do either one of these right and it will have people stop and take notice at the event and whenever they flip the pages of the Sagaai album.
AAPKA SWAAGATH HAI!!!!!!

Libaas

Libaas:

So last time we bid goodbye with the ring in hand and if you thought all your worries were put to rest with that.......think again!!!! First impressions, they say, are most important and the bride better look the part. Beware!
Bollywood influences Indians in more ways than one. The most crucial aspect being what to wear and what not to wear. Here come the Sagaai friendly attire inspired by our favorites. So, get ready to dazzle on your big day No.1.

                                           Pastel and Neon Dhamaka :
Pastels and Fluorescent colors are hot this season.  The trick is to look subtle and still manage to hold everyone's attention.

Play with neon and pastel version of the same color like these beauties. Complete the look with some bling and voila!there goes a fab dulhan.

You could also bank on neutral colors with neon for a simple yet stylish look. Take a hint from this:

Pastels add elegance. They make just about anyone look serene and gorgeous even with minimal jewellery and make up. Classic example of this is Pairon Mein Bandhan Hai from Mohabbatein where the ladies light up the screen in pastel colored lehengas with elan.

Pastels look pleasant, sober and have a soothing effect on the mind. Lasting impression guaranteed. Aqua and peach colors could be on the top of your priority list this season.

Tips for those who prefer heavy work on the ghagra. Tip 1: Do not overdo your make up. Tip 2: Add minimal yet classy jewellery. Do it right their way:

Send us your feedback and comments. Spread the style. Thank You!

Sagaai

The Shaadi is not just the union of two souls but of two families.  The grand opening ceremony of sorts Sagaai is beyond just a simple exchange of rings. The Indian engagement involves exchange of gifts amidst a grand get together, customs, shor sharaaba and a lot of bling. Sure this concept was borrowed from the west but we know how to make it loud, colorful, dramatic, musical and a lot of fun. However it all boils down to "the ring".  Our heart reaches out to all the ladies since only they know how difficult it is to choose one among all the gorgeous bands out there but don’t you worry pretties as help is now just a blog away. So put your shades on as we bring out the right shine for you.
The diamond love is eternal. Diamonds make a girl's eyes pop and a guy's pocket burn but no complains from either side as Sagaai (in most cases) happens only once in a lifetime. The diamond could be a way to sweep the girl off her feet or make you fall flat on your face. The cut, colour, size and beyond all the design should be your points of focus. Here are some examples of the ideal ones:
                                   Heere:

These are tasty cakes with diamond/s as the icing on top.The love for diamonds ,as we know, is eternal. Criticized for being overdone they still are a rage plus they never go out of “fashion”. Simple, classy and wearable is the mantra. Usually made with a rock on top and a gold, silver or platinum band, it sure makes for good investment.

                   What’s Hotter Than Jalebis now??

1.Colored gemstones with a splash of diamonds are hot property. Play with the designs and craft them in shapes which define your style. Indians love color and that makes these a hit among the crowds. Also check for the stone’s astrological power as rocks are known for swinging luck both back and forth. Look exquisite with Sarees and sure make heads turn.

2. The ruling funda now is if you have it flaunt it and what better to flaunt than those precious diamonds. The best way to express your love for them this season is to mount them. This allows the king of bling to sit on its throne and shine its way to glory. You could also throw in some tiny diamonds on the band to make the look heavier. Spread the sparkle.

3. Create your own visual style... let it be unique for yourself and yet identifiable for others. Being different is always in and since its your brain child you sure wont regret.

Remember the engagement ring is an eternal love band so you dont want to go wrong with this one. In Hum Aapke Hain Kaun style - ‘sab rasmo se badi hai jag me dil se dil SAGAAI’.
